In private parking garages that house expensive vehicles, it is important to maintain a constant level of humidity to protect car bodies.

Condensation dehumidifiers generally reach their limit at a relative humidity below 45%. An adsorption dryer can achieve lower humidity values, and the warmed, dry air produces a heating effect in the parking garage during the winter months.

When deciding between an adsorption dryer or a condensation dehumidifier, the rule of thumb is that in temperatures below +15°C and humidity levels below 50%, the adsorption dryer is more effective.

Clothes drying – dehumidifying instead of ventilating and heating

For a long time, rooms for drying clothes consisted of a line, and perhaps some means of blowing warm air. If all else failed, ventilation was another option. But drying rooms are often plagued with humidity problems. These can be glossed over, but they will surely come back. In these cases, a Secomat clothes dryer may be the solution. Due to its high dehumidification capability, not only the clothes, but also the masonry are constantly dried. The development of mold or rust is thus continually prevented.

Economical and Gentle

Secomat clothes dryers operate fully automatically and are easy to use. As opposed to a tumbler which uses a great deal of heat and movement and is rough on clothes, the Secomat dryer works with a gentle air flow and without heat – almost just like nature herself. Laundry stays soft and wrinkle-free and is much easier to iron. In comparison to the tumbler, the Secomat uses 50% less energy.
