Mobile Air Condition Units

“Modern” man lives and works primarily in an artificial environment created by him. Ninety percent of his time is spent in closed-off buildings, in rooms that must provide living conditions that match what nature provides. This is especially true for the essential living requirement: air. And that leads to the central focus of air condition technology: to create appropriate comfort in applicable rooms.

Mobile air condition units have a long-standing tradition that began in the USA. The company, Carrier (base in the United States), introduced its first transportable room air conditioner as early as 1937. At the time, however, a single unit weighed approx. 400 kg.

Mobile air condition units are delivered ready for plug in. Typical applications for such units include spaces where renovation or structural changes are either undesirable or not allowed, for example, rented apartments, small commercial areas that do not have significant cooling requirements, attics, vacation condos, campers, etc.

We offer products that provide cooling capacity ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 W.
These units are also available for rent.

Room Air Conditioning Systems

Towards the end of the ’70’s in Japan, the split air conditioner was developed from its precursor, the unitary air conditioner. This step in innovation became the basis for today’s world dominance of “the other air condition technology.” Split technology enables solutions to highly complex air conditioning requirements at a high level of quality.

Split construction is characterized by the separate location of the main groups of air-cooled compressor units. The outside generally consists of 1 to 3 hermetic compressors and one heat exchanger with axial ventilation (fan). They are designed for a fixed location outside. Key components include a heat exchanger (cooling process: evaporation) and a radial ventilator. If only one interior unit is connected to the outside compressor, it is referred to as a mono-split unit; if more than one interior unit is connected, then it is called a multi- split unit.

Typical applications include spaces in which renovation or structural changes are desired or allowed, for example, owner-inhabited apartments, small and large commercial areas with significant cooling requirements, attics, vacation condos, specialty installations, etc.

We offer products that provide cooling capacities ranging from 1,000 to 30,000 W.

VRF – Air Conditioning Systems

VRF* (variable refrigerant flow) multi-split technology begins where “normal” split air conditioning technology leaves off, and opens entirely new applications for “the other air condition technology”. Complex air conditioning solutions can be implemented in a highly economical manner. Features that separate VRF technology from the rest include performance-controlled refrigerant compressors, process optimization through microelectronics, cost-effective comfort air conditioning, energy-efficient partial load operation, flexible installation, individual room temperature control, etc.

These systems are typically used for rooms with high internal loads, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, workshops, etc.

VRF = Variable Refrigerant Flow, depending on factory, it may also be called
VRV = Variable Refrigerant Volume

For cooling capacities starting at 25 kw.

Wine Cellar Air Conditioning Systems

Every wine aficionado knows that a good wine has not completed its full maturation upon bottling. Depending on the origin and quality of the wine, it may be years before connoisseurs can savor all the aromas of a wine that nature intended it to have.

In order to have wine reach a harmonious maturity, it must be stored in darkness, constant temperature, and humidity to keep it from spoiling. These are requirements that in today’s cellars can often only be attained with the help of a cellar air conditioning unit. . .

The Wine Cellar Air Condition are quiet, user-friendly, and highly capable.

The wall-split air conditioners by CTA consist of two units connected with refrigerant pipes. The interior unit cools the room in which the wine is stored. Simultaneously, it provides sufficient air circulation and, if necessary, removes excessive humidity out of the air (dehumidifier). The exterior unit is weather-proof and is installed either on an outside wall or in a separate room, in which recovered heat can be used for other purposes, for example, drying clothes.

The desired cooling function and temperature setting are selected via infrared remote control. Sophisticated sensor technology monitors selected values and ensures that they remain constant. If necessary, additional functions such as air circulation, dehumidification, etc. are available. Wine cellar air conditioners can accommodate any size wine cellar and can support personal as well as commercial applications. They are extremely quiet and energy efficient. A system that is available in various performance categories serves as a standard solution.
